Mark Zuckerberg hosted a public Q&A session: Mark Zuckerberg made some mind-bending predictions about the future at a Q&A he hosted on his Facebook page on Tuesday. They may seem far-fetched now but some of the Facebook CEO’s ideas are shared by futurists and scientists alike.

Slack hits one million daily users: Slack’s growth continues to skyrocket. With over one million daily users – and a third of those paying money – Slack has shown how a collaboration and communication tool should be done.

Facebook tweaks video algorithm: Facebook are now taking into account more interactions with videos that  indicate whether someone found that video interesting, such as choosing to turn on sound, making the video full screen, and enabling high definition. So if you turn the volume up or make the video full screen, Facebook infers you liked the video and will show you similar videos higher up in your News Feed.

Better Analytics For Facebook Video: A new Videos tab in Page Insights will enable video publishers to more easily determine the overall performance of their videos across custom date ranges. With this tab, Page owners will have access to views and 30-second views, top videos within a certain date range, and metrics for videos shared from other Pages.

Twitter Introduces New Audience Insight for Brands: Advertisers can access key insights about the people they reach with ad campaigns and through tailored audiences. These aggregated insights,offer info about user demographics, interests, purchasing behaviour and more. Twitter us also introducing personas, a new way to quickly learn about relevant groups of users and then target them in campaigns with a single click.
