Facebook’s now offering advertisers the opportunity to buy ads based on 100% in-view impressions. So you can either pay for ads which someone has had fully in their newsfeed stream or you can pay for ads which someone has seen about 10% of the image / video.
Twitter releases video app cards
Advertisers can now use video to promote their mobile apps on Twitter. The Video App Card shows people a preview of your app, resulting in a more educated — and more qualified – user. In beta, Twitter saw that this highly engaging format helped some advertisers nearly triple their conversion rate from app click to install.

Facebook Notes has been around for a while, but with a smart new interface and paired down more design options (you can choose a header image, insert URLs, images and text) Facebook Notes is looking to challenge other blogging platforms out there,. Tumblr should be particularly concerned considering 50% of its users use Facebook but only 7% of Facebook users can say the same about Tumblr (Source: GlobalWebIndex). Currently new Notes are for people profiles only and can only be created using the desktop version.
