We’re looking for someone who loves all things digital and is keen to learn more about social media and content marketing.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to apply your digital marketing expertise to a variety of clients, across a range of platforms.

Daily activities will include content, email and social marketing communications such as managing social platforms, optimising Facebook ads, drafting blog posts, commissioning content and building email newsletter campaigns.

The role involves working closely with the Empower Directors, so you’ll be exposed to more advanced strategic work than you might be at a larger agency and be expected to learn quickly to take on tasks on your own.

We are looking for flexible support to help meet the demand of our growing agency. As such, this role will initially be for 2-3 days a week on a contract basis of 3 months. Following this trial period we will review the contract with the possibility of extending at the same level, or increasing the number of days per week.

Flexible working and hours are available. We can provide office space in East London (Bethnal Green) if required. Remote working is a distinct possibility, but you must be available for occasional meetings in London (once or twice a month).

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Reporting to the Directors of Empower your responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day creation, implementation, management, optimisation, reporting & analysis of digital marketing campaigns for UK & international markets
  • Maximising digital opportunities to meet client objectives
  • Regular reporting and channel performance analysis
  • Coordinating weekly tasks to ensure timelines are met

Content Marketing:

  • Identifying article themes and ideas for clients
  • Research, drafting and publishing client articles
  • Working with Content Management Systems, such as WordPress
  • Promoting articles online and across social media
  • Planning, commissioning and creating social content
  • Optimising the distribution of content for social media and SEO

Social Media:

  • Community management on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
  • Creating content calendars for clients’ social media presences
  • Analysing and reporting performance of clients’ social media accounts

Paid Media:

  • Planning and implementing campaigns across Google PPC and Facebook Ads
  • Providing insight and optimisation ideas based on performance analysis
  • Testing site links, ad copy and landing pages

Email Marketing:

  • Maintain and coordinate clients’ email newsletters in line with content and promotional campaigns
  • Support email briefing, testing and broadcasting all outgoing emails
  • Monitor and maintain email database & segmentation for clients
  • Support with implementing A/B & multivariate tests to help improve site conversion
  • Report and analyse on the results of email marketing

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL HAVE

  • Fluency in English to a native level
  • Extremely well-organised and practical
  • Excellent copywriting skills, especially writing for digital experience
  • Amazing at email communication and inbox management
  • Experience running social media campaigns and community management for clients
  • A love for all things digital and living a digital lifestyle
  • Comfortable working independently on tasks
  • No degree needed – we’re more interested in your ideas and experience

WHAT WE DO FOR YOU
