Empower’s approach to AI

New: Read Empower’s AI Manifesto

As a values-led digital comms agency, we’re always looking for ways to increase our productivity and efficiency in order to better serve our clients. However, we also recognise the importance of protecting and valuing the human element of our business. That’s why we are approaching the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in a responsible and mindful way.

First and foremost, we believe that AI should be used to augment and support the work of our human team members, rather than replacing them. By using AI to handle repetitive or time-consuming tasks, we are able to free up our team members to focus on higher-value work such as strategy development, creative thinking, and client relationship management. This allows us to not only improve our overall productivity, but also empower our team to grow and develop their skills. While it may be tempting to rely on AI to handle certain tasks entirely, we always aim to strike a balance between automation and human expertise.

We also understand the potential concerns that our team members may have about the impact of AI on their jobs. That’s why we are transparent in our communication about how we are using AI, and we make sure to provide ongoing training and support to help our team members adapt to new technologies.

At the same time, we are committed to using AI ethically and responsibly. This means being transparent about how we collect and use data, and ensuring that our AI algorithms do not perpetuate biases or discriminate against certain groups of people.

Overall, our approach to using AI is driven by our values of collaboration, innovation, and respect for the human element of our business. By using AI to augment and support the work of our team members, we are able to increase our productivity while also valuing and protecting the important role that humans play at Empower.
