About First Draft News

First Draft News is a coalition of organisations working with newsrooms, universities, platforms and civil society organisations to protect communities from harmful misinformation.

The Challenge

First Draft approached Empower with the brief of helping raise awareness, broaden their target audience and drive sign ups to online courses and live seminars. Empower were tasked to produce an integrated social media strategy, including managing content and creatives, messaging, channels, and measurement.

From this insight, practical recommendations were implemented, including channels, content planning and writing, tone, frequency, themes, creatives, engaging stakeholders, setting metrics, data analysis, and more.

The Results
