Bongi KellnerAccount ManagerBongi joined Empower in 2021, and has worked on numerous clients since, while also being involved in lots of internal work helping shape Empower as an agency.As an Account Manager Bongi is heavily involved in client servicing, ensuring that clients are receiving regular updates on projects. She also is deeply involved in plenty of internal projects at Empower, including being part of the DEI team.Bongi has always been fascinated by the ‘power’ of social media and how it can be used to educate people and also change opinions/perceptions. She particularly enjoys reporting and audit work as she loves linking the learnings to client work and encouraging clients to try new ways of sharing their content and adapting to trends.Bongi has worked in agency since her career in marketing began. Working on several accounts is almost like second nature to her. She started off working for brands like Whole Earth, Virgin Trains and Star Alliance but quickly realised she wanted to work with more values-aligned clients and decided to go freelance. Her freelance work led her to working as a consultant for Empower in 2021, and she has been an integral part of the team ever since.Bongi is really passionate about advocacy work.
