About Penny East
Penny is a communications and influencing expert; she specialises in content strategy, working with activists and those with lived experience, and using digital tools to influence policy and shift narratives.
She has worked in the domestic abuse sector for the last six years, using her communications and digital skills to influence legislation and raise awareness. Previously, she headed up communications and digital teams for brands such as Spirit of 2012 (London 2012 Olympic legacy), Comic Relief, BT Sport and the Prince’s Charities. Penny is a Clore Social Leadership Fellow (2017) where she specialised in gender equality.
She is a mum of two boys under three and is attempting to renovate an eighteenth century cottage
