About Angharad Francis

Angharad is a digital and social media specialist with over 7 years of experience working with charities, non-profits and purpose-led organisations, as well as global and national brands.

Prior to working at empower, Angharad worked in the charity sector at Great Ormond Street Children’s Charity and the Royal National Institute for Deaf People as a Social Media Manager, working closely with fundraising, policy and research teams to drive change through accessible organic and paid social media content.

Angharad also worked at Social Misfits Media as a Community Manager, creating digital strategies, and carrying out social media training and workshops for organisations like the DCMS and Royal Academy of Engineering. Angharad started her career working at Publicis Media as a Digital Executive for brands such as Heineken and Kraft Heinz, after completing an undergraduate degree in History at the University of Birmingham.

Angharad joined the Empower team in 2024.
